In June 2022, Resilience Entertainment joined forces with the Stand With Ukraine Foundation, and in this short span, we've successfully helped them to raise funds that have played a vital role in acquiring and delivering essential protective gear, surveillance drones, vehicles, and medical rescue equipment. — Can you tell us about your project and the assistance you provide to Ukraine?
Stand With Ukraine Foundation (SWUF) is a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization whose mission is to save, support, strengthen and sustain Ukraine, a nation valiantly defending the front line of global freedom and peace. With steadfast support from numerous volunteers and activists, we have provided over $3.5 million in aid to Ukraine since our inception, even before the full-scale Russian invasion, and our commitment has not wavered for a single moment since.
SWUF has received letters of recognition from the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Los Angeles, State Senator Josh Newman, and Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass. These acknowledgments, including the Local Heroes Award presented by the LA Peace Corps Volunteers, are dedicated to the brave people of Ukraine.

One of the most poignant moments in our journey took place on October 5th, 2022, when Stand With Ukraine Foundation organized a press tour dedicated to the brave defenders of Mariupol from the Azov Regiment. Our goal was not just to raise general awareness about these heroes but also to play an active role in facilitating the liberation of POWs and collect funds for the persistent efforts to liberate occupied territories in Ukraine.
During this critical time, Resilience Entertainment was staging Tina Karol's concert in Los Angeles as part of her North American Tour. Recognizing the significance of our cause, we extended an invitation to Tina to become an ambassador for this important initiative. Her involvement transformed the event into a powerful and emotionally charged occasion, providing invaluable support to the Mariupol Defenders. As a result, on October 29th, 2022, the release of 52 Ukrainian POWs, including officers, medics, sergeants, and soldiers, among whom were fighters of the Azov regiment, was successfully carried out. We are committed to continuing our efforts until all POWs are safely returned home.
Our collaboration with renowned bands and artists like Kalush Orchestra, Boombox, Verka Serduchka and others also yielded remarkable success stories. Through such charity fundraisers and the collective generosity of our supporters, we have successfully raised funds that are instrumental in procuring and sending much-needed protective gear, surveillance drones, cars, and equipping medical rescue vehicles. Therefore, we continue to directly contribute to saving hundreds of lives in Ukraine, a testament to the tangible impact that Resilience Entertainment and Stand With Ukraine can achieve in partnership.
